FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Sharks Women’s Golf team, under the direction of Head Coach Heather Wall, following a strong performance in the fall, in which NSU won two events and earned four top-five finishes, are ranked atop the NCAA Division II Women’s Golf coaches’ poll.
“Being the top-ranked team after the fall is an awesome accomplishment. We are continuing to work hard to get ready for the spring.” said Wall. “The girls are very excited to get the season started in a few weeks.”
No. 1 Nova Southeastern features five student-athletes ranked inside the top-100 women’s golfers nationally. Ellen Andersson, the winner of the South Region Preview and the Saint Leo Invitational, leads the way for NSU and is ranked third nationally, while Ellen Ramstedt (16th), Hannah Mitterberger (45th), Maia Samuelsson (54th), and Jimena Marques (78th).
