Gators Diving Geared for Tennessee Diving Invitational
Nine Teams will compete Jan. 3-5 at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 2/3 Florida men’s and women’s diving team begin the New Year in Knoxville, Tenn., at the Tennessee Diving Invitational. The competition will take place Jan. 3-5 at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center.
The Gators will compete against divers from Auburn, Georgia, LSU, NC State, South Carolina, SMU, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.
The format for the event will include prelims and finals for both springboard events, with the top 12 scorers from prelims advancing to finals. Platform will be finals only. The events will run simultaneously, with finals immediately following prelims. The Invitational is the final regular-season opportunity for divers to achieve NCAA Zone qualifying scores in the platform event.
