INDIANAPOLIS – Maggie Schneider has been named the Nike Horizon League Runner of the Week announced by the league office Tuesday for her record breaking performance at the Indiana State Under Armour Pre-National Meet.
Schneider ran the women’s 6k in a time of 20:50.9 which placed her fifth overall and landed her a new Oakland school record. The Davisburg native’s time helped lead her team to a 14th overall place finish at the competitive meet.
The Oakland cross country teams will take the course again this Friday, Oct. 25 at the Eastern Michigan Fall Classic.
