West Palm Beach, Fla. – It was the fall opener for the Lynn University women’s tennis team in the annual PBA Sailfish Invitational. The No. 1 doubles team of Ulyana Grib and Valeriya Pogrebnyak advanced with a win over Saint Leo to highlight the women’s action on Day 1.

WOMEN’S DOUBLES DRAW:
#1 Doubles Flight
- Grib teamed up with Pogrebnyak to beat the two from Saint Leo, 9-7.
- The second No. 1 team Eliska Petrackova and Eleonora Liga weren’t able to get past Barry, 9-7.
#2 Doubles Flight
- Federica Mordegan and Giorgia Pigato beat the squad from Palm Beach Atlantic.
#3 Doubles Flight
- Federica Pezzana and Anastacia Parkin weren’t able to get the final point against Keiser in a 9-8 defeat.
