BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 2023 Florida Atlantic University softball schedule has arrived. FAU head coach Jordan Clark enters her first year at the helm of the program and will lead the Owls on a 51-game slate beginning on Feb. 9.

“This schedule has a little bit of everything,” Clark said. “It includes opponents who will test us early and several home tournaments for Owl nation to come see our team in person. Establishing the Joan Joyce Classic and paying tribute to Coach Joyce is something that we are looking forward to. Our competitive non-conference slate will prepare us for conference play and to challenge for a Conference USA Championship.”
THE RUNDOWN
The Owls’ season will get underway with the Paradise Classic from Feb. 9-12, the first of three home tournaments for FAU. The Owls will then travel to the gulf side of Florida for the FGCU Invitational from Feb. 17-19 before returning to Boca Raton for the Joan Joyce Classic from Feb. 23-26. The final tournament will be the Owl Classic from March 2-5.
FAU’s conference season, the final one as a member of Conference USA, will begin at UAB with a three-game series from March 10-12. Charlotte will be the first home conference series the following weekend, March 17-19.
FAU’s final home series of the regular season will bring North Texas to town April 28-30 before the Owls head to UTSA May 5-7 for the final regular season series. The Conference USA Championship Tournament will take place at Louisiana Tech from May 10-13.
