Another week of Winter League play in the books… here’s some highlights:
IN ARIZONA:
C Joe Mack had hits in his final 3 games played during the AFL Regular Season, going 4×12 in that span with a double, home run, and 2 RBI.
IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC:
OF Bryan De La Cruz made his Winter League debut last Friday for the Toros del Este and went 3×5 with 2 doubles and a run scored on Nov. 6.
OF Jesus Sanchez has hit safely in 8 of 10 games played and is currently sporting a 5-game hit streak. Went 4×16 in 4 starts last week playing right field.
OF Jerar Encarnacion is batting .385 (15×39), with hits in his first 10 games played, including 4 multi-hit efforts. Is the longest active hitting streak in the LIDOM.
