BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women’s tennis team has wrapped up their fall schedule, but the program’s efforts to continue their national ranking climb continues with the signing of Hungarian Panna Bartha.
Bartha is the first to commit to the 2023-24 squad and will continue to play internationally through August of 2023.
QUOTABLE“I am extremely excited about Panna’s commitment to our program,” said Ricardo Gonzalez, FAU’s director of tennis. “The thing that impressed me the most about Panna was not necessarily her results in tennis, but more importantly, her as a person. “Of course, we are always wanting to bring great talent to our team, but when you can combine that with values that blend into our culture, it is a win-win situation. I am excited to help shape Panna’s future on and off the court. I am looking forward to the journey ahead of us.”
