Gators Home Athletics Events for this Weekend Remain Scheduled
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida has closed campus for Thursday due to Tropical Storm Nicole but is expected to resume normal activities on Friday<https://updates.emergency.ufl.edu/2022/11/09/classes-canceled-gainesville-campus-closed-thursday/>.
All home Gator athletic events scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be held as planned.
This Weekend’s Gator Home Sporting Events:
Friday, Nov. 11 Time Television/Stream
Men’s Basketball vs Kennesaw State 7pm SEC Network +
Saturday, Nov. 12
Baseball Orange & Blue Scrimmage 9 a.m.
(DH – 7 inning games)
Football vs South Carolina 4 p.m. SEC Network
Sunday, Nov. 13
Women’s Basketball vs UNC Ashville 2 p.m. SEC Network
Softball vs College of Central Florida 2 p.m.
Tickets for both men’s and women’s basketball are available through the Gators Ticket Office<https://floridagators.com/sports/2015/12/10/_tickets_> and admission is free to both the baseball and softball exhibitions. The football game vs. South Carolina is sold out.
The UAA will continue to work with UF, local and state officials to monitor Tropical Storm Nicole and any potential impacts on events beyond Thursday.
