Florida Announces 2023 Football Schedule
The Gators will host six games in The Swamp with the home opener on Sept. 9th vs. McNeese State.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida football schedule for the 2023 season was announced by the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Tuesday evening during special programming on SEC Network.
The Gators kick off the season at Utah on Sept. 2nd, traveling to Salt Lake City for the first time in program history. Florida will then return to Gainesville for the season opener vs. McNeese State on Sept. 9th followed by hosting its SEC opener against Tennessee on Sept. 16th.
The schedule for all 14 SEC schools includes eight conference games, including six games against division opponents and two games against non-division opponents. In addition to a trip to LSU, the Gators will host Arkansas for the fourth time in program history on Nov. 4th.
Florida’s first conference road game will be at Kentucky on Sept. 30. The SEC home slate includes Tennessee (Sept. 16), Vanderbilt (Oct. 7) and Arkansas (Nov. 4). The non-conference home schedule features McNeese State (Sept. 9), Charlotte (Sept. 23) and Florida State (Nov. 25).
