BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University head men’s basketball coach Dusty May announced the Owls’ 2022-23 schedule on Wednesday. The Owls will embark on a 31-game regular season slate beginning with a home game against Lynn on Nov. 7.

“We are extremely excited about this season’s non-conference schedule,” May said. “Our main objective this year was to be challenged in our non-conference slate to prepare us for an extremely competitive conference schedule. We anticipate several of the programs we will face in the non-conference season to ultimately compete for their respective league championships.”
THE BREAKDOWN
- After the opener, FAU will have a two-game SEC road trip, as the Owls will travel to Ole Miss on Nov. 11, then head to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators on Nov. 14
- The Owls will host the Paradise Invitational from Nov. 17-21 with Bryant and Detroit Mercy coming to town
- The Owls’ Conference USA opener is against in-state rival FIU at home on Dec. 17
- After the calendar flips to 2023, the Owls will start the new year with a two-game home stand against UAB on Jan. 5 and Charlotte on Jan. 7
- FAU will embark on a three-game road trip against WKU, UTSA and UTEP from Jan. 16-21
- The regular season finale is at Louisiana Tech on March 4
- The Conference USA Championship will be held in Frisco, Texas from March 8-11. This year marks the Owls’ final season as a Conference USA member, as FAU will move to the American Athletic Conference in the summer of 2023
