BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Department of Athletics has gone on sale with single-game tickets for UAB women’s soccer, men’s soccer and volleyball beginning today. Tickets are $5 for adults or $3 for those 18 or younger.
The best way to catch all the action is to purchase a Gold Card. Season tickets for all three sports can be purchase with the 2022-23 Gold Card. The Gold Card will allow you to gain access to all home events for women’s soccer, men’s soccer, volleyball, women’s basketball, baseball and softball.

Erica Demers and the women’s soccer team opens its home slate against Chattanooga on Aug. 16 at PNC Field. The Blazers have nine regular season home matches including crosstown rival Samford on Sept. 8. The Bulldogs are coming off a 16-3-3 season and advanced to the second round of the College Cup, defeating Auburn in the first round before falling to St. John’s in PKs. UAB will have an exhibition match against Belmont on August 14 with free admission.
The men’s soccer team, under the direction of Jeff Kinney, begin its first season in season in the American Athletic Conference. The home schedule starts August 26 against College of Charleston at PNC Field. The Blazers play nine regular season home matches, highlighted by a home match against defending national champion Clemson on Sept. 13. UAB plays an exhibition match against William Carey on August 14 that has free admission.
Betsy Freeburg‘s volleyball squad host 13 regular season matchups at Bartow Arena, highlighted by an Oct. 14 match against Rice. The Owls are coming off a 12-0 C-USA regular season and a berth in the second round of the NCAA Tournament while receiving 12 votes in the final AVCA ranking. On Aug. 19, UAB hosts Jacksonville State in an exhibition match with free admission.
