The Philadelphia Phillies selected Florida Atlantic University sophomore outfielder Gabriel Rincones, Jr. with the 14th pick of the third round (No. 93 overall) in Monday’s Major League Baseball amateur draft. With only the exception of the shortened five-round 2020 draft, this marks at least one Owl being drafted in 16 of the last 17 seasons.
