Danielle Pavinelli named to Second Team; Emma LoPinto earns Third Team accolades
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Two members of the Florida lacrosse team added to their postseason resumes on Thursday as the IWLCA announced its All-American Teams.
Danielle Pavinelli was tabbed as a Second Team All-American, while Emma LoPinto was named as a Third Team honoree.

LoPinto was just one of two freshmen across the nation to earn All-America honors, with both her and Stanford’s Ashley Humphrey claiming spots on the Third Team.
In total, the IWLCA honored 48 student-athletes that represent 19 different institutions.
The Gators finished the 2022 season with a 17-5 overall record and a perfect 5-0 AAC record. For the ninth time in 13 years, the Gators were able to hoist both the regular season conference championship and the conference tournament championship. UF secured its 11th-straight regular season crown during the 2022 campaign and won its ninth conference tournament trophy overall and eighth-straight.
