ATLANTA – Six Gator student-athletes are set to attend the inaugural INFLCR NIL Summit hosted by Student Athlete NIL (SANIL) at the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta from June 13-15.
Elise Bauer (swimming and diving), Trinity Thomas (gymnastics), Kamari Wilson (football) and Derek Wingo (football) will all represent the University of Florida in a multi-day professional development experience.
The event will begin on Monday, June 13 with the 1st Annual NIL Awards as Gator gymnasts Leah Clapper and Megan Skaggs were both announced as nominees. Clapper was nominated for both the Innovator of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Skaggs nominated for the Athlete Advocate of the Year.
“We are excited to have our student-athletes participate in this event and continue their education and growth in the area of Name, Image and Likeness,” said Scott Stricklin, Athletics Director at the University of Florida.
Hundreds of student-athletes from across the nation will engage and participate in keynote sessions, panels, and workshops across multiple educational tracks, including social media and influencer marketing, career development, brand management, entrepreneurship, wealth building, blockchain, and social responsibility.
Mentorship and education will also be delivered by industry-leading practitioners and subject matter experts, including pro-athletes, agents, influencers, entrepreneurs, as well as executives from the world’s biggest brands and social media companies.
