Anthony Nesty named Men’s Swimming Coach of the Year for the third-straight season; Maha Amer earns Female Diver of the Year honors
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Southeastern Conference announced its postseason awards on Wednesday and the Gators took home both Female Diver of the Year and Men’s Swimming Coach of the Year, as well as 10 All-SEC First Team honors, five All-SEC Second Team honors and seven All-Freshman Team accolades.
Maha Amer earned the title of Co-Female Diver of the Year, alongside Kyndal Knight (Kentucky) and Brooke Schultz (South Carolina) after her stellar performances at the SEC Championships. She finished fourth on the 3-meter springboard, sixth on the platform and 10th in the 1-meter event. This is the first major SEC award of Amer’s career.
