TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Peter Sulick, Michael Wynn, Erika Donalds, and Luis Rivera to the Florida Gulf Coast University Board of Trustees.
Peter Sulick
Sulick, of Naples, is the Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Dynasil Corporation of America. He is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of AmeriSite, LLC. Sulick currently serves on the Citadel Baker School of Business Advisory Board. He is also on the Executive Committee Board of The Citadel Foundation, the Florida Gulf Coast University Foundation, and is the President of the Kane Lodge Foundation. Sulick is a certified public accountant who earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from The Citadel and his master’s degree in finance from the University of Massachusetts.
Michael Wynn
Wynn, of Naples, is the President of Sunshine Ace Hardware. He is currently the Director of Moorings Park Institute and the Florida Gulf Coast University Foundation Board. Wynn is the second Vice Chair for the Naples Community Hospital Board of Directors. He is the Past-Chair of the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, the Leadership Collier Foundation, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Miami. Wynn earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Florida and his master’s degree in business administration from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Erika Donalds
Donalds, of Naples, is the Chief Executive Officer of Optima Ed. She has previously served as a School Board Member of Collier County and was a Commissioner on the Constitution Revision Commission. Donalds currently serves on the Board of Academic Advisors for the Classical Learning Test. She is a former Co-Founder and President of the Florida Coalition of School Board Members. Donalds is a certified public accountant and a chartered global management accountant who earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University and a master’s degree in accountancy from Florida Atlantic University.
Luis Rivera
Rivera, of North Fort Myers, is a Shareholder at GrayRobinson, P.A. He is one of only thirteen attorneys in Florida who is Board Certified in Business Bankruptcy Law and Consumer Bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification. Since 2010, Rivera has served as a United States Bankruptcy Trustee for the Middle District of Florida. He currently serves as Chair of the Florida Bar’s Grievance Committee for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit and is the Past-Chair of both the Lee County Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board and the Hispanic Institute Advisory Board at Hodges University. Rivera earned his bachelor’s degree from Loyola University and his juris doctor from Washington and Lee University.
These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
