Gator 2022 All-Americans
Trinity Thomas joins Oregon State’s Jade Carey as the nation’s only gymnast to collect four first-team All-America honors. She claimed All-America first-team honors for each apparatus – vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise – and finished regular-season action at No. 1 for vault and floor. Although she shares the nation’s top total (39.85) of the season, she did not qualify for all-around All-America honors. Six all-around performances are required and she competed as an all-arounder five times in 2022.
Four All-America honors for freshman Leanne Wong equals the high by a Southeastern Conference gymnast in 2022. She earned All-America honors in all-around, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise.
Senior Nya Reed is a 2022 All-American in vault and floor exercise. Graduate Megan Skaggs claims All-America first-team honors for the all-around.
