PANTHERS POSTGAME QUOTES

Forward Sam Bennett

On tonight’s game:

“[Nashville] worked hard, they battled hard. Even when we had chances to take advantage after the disallowed goal, they came back with big pushes. When we were up, they came back and pushed. It was a hard-fought game but I think we’ve just got to do a little bit better job of being aware of their push and containing that and still finding our game.”

On playing at home:

“I just love playing here at home, I love playing in front of these fans. I enjoy playing here.”

Defenseman Radko Gudas

On Florida’s effort tonight:

“I thought the effort was there. I thought we did a lot of great things. We maybe passed the puck too many times in our opportunities. I just thought there were some breaks that we could have taken care of, and we gave them their chances and they capitalized on it. We’ve got to learn from it and be smarter when we play a game like that. I really like how we came out and how we played, and there are some things we can take care of.”

Interim Head Coach Andrew Brunette

On tonight’s game:

“I liked a lot of things we did [tonight]. I thought we attacked, I thought we had energy, I thought we played the way we wanted to play. We just got a little loose in certain areas. We kind of got away with it at different times during the course [of the game] and tonight we didn’t. As simple as that.”
