JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida men’s golf team sits in fourth after day one of the spring opener at the Sea Best Invitational on Monday.
Florida (+10) trails College of Charleston by three strokes for the lead after shooting a 287 in round one and 283 in round two.
A trio of Gators are tied for 13th in John DuBois, Quentin Debove and Tyler Wilkes. The group all saw better scores in round two as Wilkes led with a 68 (-2), Debove an even 70 and John Dubois who went 2-under on the back nine for a 70 (E) also.
Fresh off his runner-up finish at the Latin America Championship, Fred Biondi is tied for 21st with teammate Ricky Castillo.
Right outside the top-25 is Yuxin Lin in 34th followed by Giovanni Manzoni (T48), Ryan Hart (T60) and Joe Pagdin (T76).
UF tees off the final day at 8:45 a.m. ET at TPC Sawgrass.
