TEAM NOTES
The Lions… - Had their seventh different player record a rush of 20-or-more yards this season (FB Jason Cabinda). This is the most players
they’ve had with a 20-yard rush since 1959. - Rushed for 160-or-more yards in consecutive road games for the first time in a single season since 1994.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
QB TIM BOYLE - Made his first NFL start and completed 15-of-23 passes (65.2%) for 77 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions for a 34.1
passer rating.
FB JASON CABINDA - Recorded a career-long 21-yard carry in the first quarter. This marks the first 20-yard rush by a Lions fullback since FB Cory
Schlesinger had a 20-yard rush vs. Dallas on Jan. 6, 2002.
P JACK FOX - Punted six times for 280 yards (46.7 avg., 38.0 net), booming a long of 61 yards and pinning two punts inside of the 20-yard
line. - Reached his 100th
-career punt. Through 100-career punts, he averaged 49.0 gross yards and 43.9 net yards per punt, both the
highest marks through a player’s first 100 punts in NFL history.
TE T.J. HOCKENSON - Recorded six receptions for 51 yards (8.5 avg.), hauling in a long of 24 yards.
- Reached 50 receptions on the season. He becomes the third tight end in franchise history to produce 50-or-more receptions in
consecutive seasons.
CB AMANI ORUWARIYE - Finished with five solo tackles, one pass defense and one interception.
- Produced his fourth interception of the season, a single-season career high.
- He now has seven-career interceptions through 35-career games played, joining CB Alphonso Smith (2010-11) as the only Lions
since 1990 to do so. - He produced three interceptions against AFC North opponents this season, tied for the second-most a Lions player has had
against AFC opponents in a season since the NFL re-aligned in 2002.
CJ A.J. PARKER - Logged two tackles (one solo), one pass defense and the first interception of his career.
RB D’ANDRE SWIFT - Recorded 14 rushes for 136 yards (9.7 avg.) and one touchdown. Added three receptions for zero yards.
- Logged a career-long 57-yard touchdown rush in the third quarter. He became the first Lions player to produce a rushing and
receiving touchdown of 50-or-more yards in a single season since RB Barry Sanders in 1997. His 57-yard touchdown rush is the
longest by a Lion in a road game since Sanders in 1997. - Registered his fourth-straight road game with 100-or-more scrimmage yards. This ties the longest streak in franchise history by
a running back since Barry Sanders over the 1996-97 seasons. - Became the fifth running back to produce 130-or-more rushing yards in consecutive games in franchise history.
- Became the first Lions player to rush for 100-or-more yards in consecutive games since RB Kevin Jones in 2004.
- Joined RB Billy Sims (1980) as the only players in team history to produce 500 rushing yards and 400 receiving yards through
the first 10 games of a season. - His 9.7 rushing average is the highest in team history when attempting at least 14 rushes in a game since the merger.
- Produced 40 scrimmage yards for the 16th
-straight game. This is the longest streak of 40-or-more scrimmage yards by a Lions
running back since RB Kevin Smith over the 2008-09 seasons. - Recorded three-or-more receptions for the 20th
-straight game, tying WR Johnnie Morton for the fourth-longest streak in
franchise history. It ranks as the longest streak by a running back in team history.
