(On how RB James Robinson is looking for Sunday) “James is day-to-day, but he should go today. We are  just being real cautious with him, but he is feeling pretty good.”

(On LB Myles Jack also being day-to-day) “He is good.”

(On RB James Robinson hurting his knee last week) “Yeah, the trainers came up to me and told me that  just after the game or this week that he was getting treatment on his knee.”

(On OL Brandon Linder coming back) “That is day-to-day, we are going to need to see what he can do  today, same with O-Shag [James O’Shaughnessy].”

(On having to make a decision with bringing back TE James O’Shaughnessy) “Yeah, he is actually looking  pretty good in practice. That is the O’Shaughnessy that I remember before he got hurt.”

(On keeping four active TE’s on gameday) “You can, there has to be special teams value somewhere in  there. Then obviously you have to drop a receiver. We have not decided all that but sure you can.”

(On what TE James O’Shaughnessy brings) “Well he [James O’Shaughnessy] has become a much better  blocker early, you know obviously before his injury. He is a good [receiver], I always felt he is a good  quality receiver. I remember the play he got hurt on, [he] did a heck of a job. I think it was [Arizona]  Cardinals. I like O-Shag [James O’Shaughnessy], last year he struggled with that knee but the year before  he had a good year. I think it was 2019 or something.”

(On the conversations between players and coaches and opening it up more) “It is essential, you are  dead in the water if you do not do that, so I admire [it]. I will say the great qualities of a coach is the  ability to obviously compete, toughness, intelligence, leadership but an adaptability. We have adapted  our defense to our personnel [and] we have simplified things. The last four weeks, there as good as and  really playing as well as anyone in the NFL right now. You see Tyson Campbell play with great  confidence, so the strategic part of it, there are noticeable differences. I think just mindset and well,  what is the job of coach? To put players in position to do what they do well. Enhance their strengths and  correct weaknesses. That is really a case book for it right now, but a big challenge with this one.”

(On QB Trevor Lawrence getting to a point where he needs encouragement) “I am always worried about  that because that is real. We have all been around for a long time and that is real. How do you get  confidence? Everyone around you, no more drops, no more penalties, be a little more accurate, take  care of him [Trevor Lawrence] and do not let him get hit. There is no secret t-shirt we can give him or  wristband or something like that. That is the only way to do it.”

(On what stands out about WR Laquon Treadwell) “Oh man, he has been coming on. First of all, I love  the guy. He has a warrior mentality. I know it has not been perfect for him in his career. I asked him to  do some things this summer to make the team and he did everything. He is a big physical receiver with

great hands and a really good guy. I love him and he is tough, tough, tough. Those are usually great  qualities and he has had a great week of practice this week too.”

(On being impressed by the way WR Laquon Treadwell blocks) “Oh yeah, you have to have a niche and  that is his [and] that is how he is on the field. Also, third and long and he makes a play. He is a very  viable receiver as well. You start talking about culture and he is the culture of the receiving room. I want  tough big cats that will go pound you and then make plays.”
