All four Gators competing at North Florida posted a singles victory on day two of the tournament.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Florida women’s tennis concluded a strong fall season, and stay at the North Florida Invitational, on Sunday afternoon after picking up two more singles victories.
After sitting out of competition for most of the fall, Sara Dahlstrom earned three victories at the UNF Invitational to end with a 3-0 fall singles record. On Sunday, Dahlstrom took down in-state rival Alice Amendola of Florida State is straight sets: 6-0, 7-5.
Also earning a victory on Sunday was freshman Alicia Dudeney. With her win over Lesedi Jacobs of Florida State (7-5, 6-2), Dudeney recorded a perfect invitational and pushed her fall singles record to 11-2.
The Gators will now turn their attention towards team competition in January, which will begin with the Freeman Memorial in Las Vegas on Jan. 13, 2022.
