“I’m really proud of the team. It was not easy this week. The course was very challenging combined with tough weather conditions. Our practice round preparation was cut short due to weather, it wasn’t smooth. But they battled. They played smart and they were mentally very tough. It was a great experience for this group.
“Jackie (Lucena) was awesome this week. She was so poised from start to finish. We knew she had this in her, she’s been frustrated to not score better in the first two events but she has stayed patient and worked hard. I’m really happy for her.”
