OMAHA, Neb. – As day six of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials came to an end, Caeleb Dressel qualified for his second individual event heading for Tokyo.

Caeleb Dressel set the tone for night seven of the U.S. Olympic Trials. Dressel went a blistering 49.87 to win the 100 fly by 1.32 seconds. Dressel kept the momentum going in the 50 free as he won the 50 free semifinals, earning a spot in Sunday night’s final with a time of 21.51.

Chaney finished fourth in the first semifinal heat and sixth overall, earning a spot in the finals on Sunday night with a time of 22.00. Davis, right behind Chaney, finished fifth in the same heat and tied for ninth overall with a time of 22.08, missing the finals by .01 seconds.
Natalie Hinds capped off night seven of the swim trials with a fifth-place finish in the first semifinal heat and 11th overall with a time of 25.14.

Davis started the day off with a personal best swim of 22.43, finishing third in heat four. Chaney finished third in his heat with a personal best time of 22.15.
In the women’s 50 free, Natalie Hinds kept the momentum going from last night’s fourth place finish in the 100 free with a tenth-place finish overall to move on to the semifinals with a time of 25.22.
