Hello everyone. Here is my first article for the South Florida Tribune.
My wife and I, both special educators, have spent many years working with all kinds of disabilities such as: Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Tourette Syndrome, Bi-Polar disorder, along with many others.
Over the past years, we have found that people with disabilities learn differently from one another, some utilize traditional modalities, others respond to alternative learning techniques.
In addition these same individuals attain independent function at different levels.
Some people with disabilities function in workshops, while others work for employers, and others on their own staring their own micro enterprise.
After observing students in so many different environments, calls of independence, and employment, gain is paramount for families with disabilities.
My wife and I after exploring so many places that employ people with disabilities have created Delicious Spoonful’s and ice cream parlor coffee bar. This will give people the right to work and to be happy, proud, confident and functioning along with an amazing abilities center that will offer families the necessary resources covering an infinite explosion of ideas, breakthroughs and therapies too numerous to list so they can make short/long term decisions for their foreseeable future needs.
Furthermore, you will be able to listen to these breakthroughs and new resources each week when me the Amazing Rob and My Wife the Amazing Helen take off at high warp speed to the infinite corridors of the universe to seek out great professionals, family members with amazing stories along with new ideas never seen before on our show called “Amazing Abilities” on the WEINETWORK.COM.
So get ready everyone as we launch our new starship called the “USS Delicious Magic” which will go just like Captain Kirk did on Star Trek to not just seek out new life and new civilization but to seek out new breakthroughs, new developments in housing, employment, traditional along with alternative modalities, and be part of a mission that will only enhance all families who have members of their own with disabilities.
