 The Broward County Public Schools Board is meeting on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 to discuss the fate of Superintendent Robert Runcie and the General Counsel. Please arrive by 1:30 pm at the Broward County Public Schools Administration building (600 SE Third Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301). I request everyone who believes we should have a strong educational system in Broward County to join us in our support for Superintendent Runcie. Our students, our teachers and staff, and our entire community have benefited from Superintendent Runcie’s passion for education, his commitment to achieving equity, his candor in presenting his ideas for continuous improvement and his enthusiasm for making Broward County Public Schools the best it can be. Many in our community deem these current actions as sinister and a way of getting Superintendent Runcie by any means necessary and at any cost. Now, more than ever, is the time for our community to come together and address the frivolous actions against Superintendent Runcie. Let us stand together! |
