Gators look to continue run of success
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – No. 7 Florida (10-1, 6-0 SEC) will travel to No. 19 Ole Miss (5-5, 4-1 SEC) and No. 24 Mississippi State (10-4, 1-3 SEC) this weekend as the Gators look to continue their momentum in Southeastern Conference play.
UF is scheduled to play the Rebels on Friday at 6 p.m. ET and the Bulldogs on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
Florida enters the weekend after two important victories over No. 20 Georgia, 7-0, and No. 4 Tennessee, 5-2, at home last weekend.
The Gators have won seven-straight matches and are on an impressive run of good play from both their doubles and singles lineups.
In dual matches this season, UF is 53-12 in singles play and 20-10 in doubles play.
Florida’s success has come from all around the singles lineup, but the No. 5 and No. 6 positions are both 10-1 this season.
Looking forward, the Gators are scheduled to host No. 5 TCU on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex.
