GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gator senior Deanne Rose was a first-round pick in tonight’s National Women’s Soccer League’s (NWSL) draft. North Carolina Courage chose Rose as the 10th overall pick to close out the draft’s first of four rounds.
Current collegiate players who were drafted can choose to continue to play in NCAA action this spring. Rose plans to play for the Gators when the spring schedule begins next month.
