Gators will join Texas, Oklahoma State and Arizona in competition
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida has selected Texas as its destination for the 2021 ITA Kickoff Weekend after the ITA Kickoff Weekend Draft was held on Monday.
The Gators will be the No. 2 seed in the Austin, Texas grouping and will compete against No. 1 seed Texas, No. 3 seed Oklahoma State and No. 4 seed Arizona on Jan. 22-23 at the Texas Tennis Center.
The winner of this Kickoff Weekend group will then advance to the Division I Men’s National Team Indoor Championship.
The Men’s National Team Indoor Championship will be hosted on Feb. 12-15 by the University of Illinois at the Atkins Tennis Center in Champaign, Ill.
The fields will consist of the seven teams advancing from their Kickoff Weekend tournaments and the respective host site school.
