UF MSWIM & DIVE | Men’s Swimming and Diving Finalizes Newest Signing Class

10 signees are set to join the 41-time SEC champs at the beginning of the 2021 campaign.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida men’s swimming and diving team and head coach Anthony Nesty has officially announced the program’s newest signing class consisting of nine swimmers and one diver.

The class put together by Nesty, associate head coach Stephen Jungbluth and head diving coach Bryan Gillooly consists of some of the highest regarded high school student-athletes in the world, achieving success in the water across state, national and international levels of competition and extensive academic accolades.

As this year’s team looks to extend its conference championship streak to nine in a row at the 2021 SEC Championships, these newest Gators will be counted on to contribute as soon as they arrive in Gainesville with the loss of four swimmers to graduation prior to the 2021-22 season.

Nesty’s Take on the Class

“We are extremely excited to welcome these 10 new members to our Gator family for the 2021-22 season. The group consists of a talented and hardworking group of student-athletes who have achieved immense success at every level of competition, and will represent Gator Nation to the highest regard both in and out of the pool. Every single one of them exemplify what we look for in a Florida Gator, and we can’t wait for them to call Gainesville home. I would like to thank Associate head coach Steve Jungbluth for all his passion, hard work and immense commitment to our program throughout this entire process. Go Gators!”
