Lynn Men’s Basketball Slides in National Rankings
BOCA RATON, Fla. – Following a 1-1 week, Lynn University’s men’s basketball team dropped a couple spots in the national rankings with the release of both national polls yesterday.
The Blue and White fell six spots to No. 22 on the coaches poll from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), while sliding five positions to No. 20 on the D2SIDA National Media poll.
The Fighting Knights have now been nationally ranked for 13 consecutive weeks, with the team’s No. 11 post five weeks ago on the media poll marking the team’s highest ranking this season.
Nova Southeastern leads the way for the Sunshine State Conference, coming in at No. 3 in both polls. Florida Southern is receiving votes in both polls.
Northwest Missouri State holds its spot at the top for the fifth week in a row as the only undefeated team left in the country (29-0).
