THE OPENING DRIVE

  • RB Ja’Kobi Jackson (Blue) set an Orange and Blue game record in rushing yards with 198 yards on
    10 rushing attempts.
    o The Pensacola Fla. native scored three times, tying the program record set by Ciatrick
    Fason in 2004.
    o He also broke away for a 90-yard touchdown scamper, the longest in Florida spring game
    history.
    o Jackson also led the game in scoring with 18 points (23-yard rushing TD, 40-yard rushing TD,
    90-yard rushing TD).
  • All four of the new Gator wide receivers caught a pass in today’s game with true freshman Dallas
    Wilson leading all pass catchers with195 yards. Wilson caught a 22-yard pass as time expired to tie
    the Florida spring game receiving record.
    o Dallas Wilson (Orange) 10 receptions for 195 yards and two scores. Tabbed the most
    receptions and tied for most receiving yards in Orange and Blue game history.
    o Naeshaun Montgomery (Orange) Three receptions for 70 yards.
    o Vernell Brown III (Blue) Four receptions for 34 yards.
    o J. Michael Sturdivant (Blue) One reception for 29 yards.
  • QB Harrison Bailey (Orange) set an Orange a Blue game record with 363 passing yards and three
    TDs on 29 completions.
    o Finished with a completion percentage of 67% and a QB rating of 156.7.
  • Team Blue’s 251 combined yards rushing are the most by a team in spring game history surpassing
    the previous record by nearly 90 yards (160 by Orange in 2010).
  • With a combined score of 70 points the 2025 iteration of the Orange and Blue game becomes the
    second-highest scoring Florida spring game of all-time.
  • S Drake Stubbs (Blue) notched the only turnover of the game, picking off Bailey on Blue’s first
    defensive possession.
    OFFENSIVE NOTES
    Blue
  • QB Aidan Warner led a seven play, 70-yard drive to open the game, ending with an 8-yard
    touchdown pass to TE Hayden Hansen.

  • Orange was awarded 3 points prior to todays game, on account of competitions won during
    Thursday’s practice.
  • QB Harrison Bailey set an Orange a Blue game record with 363 passing yards and three TDs on 29
    completions.
  • WR Dallas Wilson 10 receptions for 195 yards and two scores. Tabbed the most receptions and tied
    for most receiving yards in Orange and Blue game history.
  • Team Orange set Orange and Blue game records for first downs (24) and rush attempts (25) in
    todays contest.
  • Converted an Orange and Blue game best 11/18 third down attempts (61.1%).

DEFENSIVE NOTES
Blue

  • S Drake Stubbs notched the only turnover of the game, picking off Bailey on Blue’s first defensive
    possession.
  • True freshman LB Ty Jackson led team Blue with 11 total tackles (three solo), adding a sack and
    two TFLs.
  • Team Blue collected five sacks, led by transfer DE Kofie Asare who led the game in sacks totaling
    two and a QB hurry.
  • Three of the Blue squads four PBUs came via defensive linemen (DE Kamran James, DL Stephon
    Shivers and DL Tavorise Brown)
    Orange
  • LB Myles Graham and LB James Robinson led team Orange with eight tackles apiece.
    o Graham – Eight total tackles (five solo) and one TFL
    o Robinson – Eight total tackles (three solo), one TFL and one pass breakup.

SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES

  • K Trey Smack (Blue) drilled a 56-yard field goal in the fourth quarter, the longest FG in Florida spring
    game history.
  • WR Tank Hawkins totaled a game-most 64 kick return yards with a long of 30.
