(On the defense’s emphasis for the game) “Stop the run, eliminate the run. We know that [Leonard] Fournette spins off contact, keeps running through contact, so that was our main goal… to come in and stop the run. We knew that Foles would hold the ball and we just had to take advantage of that and get to him.”

(On his impressive performance thus far in the season) “It’s been great so far, a lot of support from everyone on the team. All the guys are all happy for each other to see each other make a play. Carl [Davis] got one, JPP [Jason Pierre-Paul] got one, Sam [Acho] got one, so everyone who plays in our room got one and it was an amazing feeling. It just feels good for everybody to be winning and producing.”

(On his strip-sack that resulted in a touchdown) “I just wanted to get to the edge, so I kept going around the edge and I saw the quarterback right there holding the ball. That gave me a shot and I tried to knock the ball out. I didn’t know if I got it for sure or not, but I did, and Devin [White] scooped it. It just started out the game right.”

(On facing QB Gardner Minshew in the second half) “I think their game plan changed a little bit, so there might have been some stuff that was different than the first half. We had to take some time to adjust to it. Once we got adjusted to him, we just played a little bit better.”
