Corrick went another undefeated weekend in the circle for her sixth pitcher of the week honor, Cook was named to the honor roll
PROVIDENCE, R.I., April 29, 2019 – Sophomore Georgina Corrick earned her sixth American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week Honor, while senior Macy Cook was named to the honor roll, the league announced Monday.
Corrick (Sanford, Fla.) went 2-0 last week, tossing 14 innings and allowing one run. In her two complete-game wins, she limited batters to a .128 average and six hits with 12 strikeouts. She has won six consecutive starts and 22 games overall while holding a 0.88 ERA for the year
Cook hit .700 last week with three RBI as USF swept Memphis. She had three multi-hit games, and her at-bats set up both USF runs in the series opener and she tallied both RBI in the finale.

USF will visit Wichita State for its final regular season series as it attempts to clinch its second straight American Athletic Conference Title. The Bulls need just one win against the Shockers to share the title with Tulsa, and two to claim it outright.
