Ricardo Gonzalez, FAU’s Director of Tennis
“I am extremely pleased with our team’s performance today,” said Gonzalez. “This win is for everyone who paved the way along the road. Our alumni, our coaching staff, our support system at FAU, and last but not least, our amazing donors who help make our student-athletes’ experience extra special. I’m so proud of this group of girls. This is a special team. Not only are we talented across the board, but most importantly, we are tough. Today, we showed a good mix of emotions. Our girls showed great energy and were calm and poised in the big moments.”
This is a great team win against a very tough Miami team. I am impressed but not surprised. Our girls have been putting in the work and this is a well deserved team victory. Special shout out to our seniors Lexi (Silna) and Mille (Millie-Mae Matthews). They played a big part of this team win. This team is so hungry for more.”
