| 8/15/2024 | Women’s Soccer | Box Score BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women’s soccer fell to the UCF Knights in the season opener on Thursday night in the FAU Football Stadium. The Owls ended the night with a 5-1 loss against the University of Central Florida to start the season. Florida Atlantic now moves to 0-1-0. After a scoreless first half, Florida Atlantic remained without a score until the 60th minute of the game when junior Stella Rubidoux recorded her first goal as an Owl. Florida Atlantic recorded 10 shots on the tonight, five of which were on goal. WHAT’S NEXT The Owls will face the University of Miami in the FAU Soccer Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 18 at 6 p.m. They have partnered with the Soup Kitchen to host a diaper drive for Taking Care of Our Babies. The first 100 fans to bring a pack of diapers will receive a free t-shirt. All games played in the FAU Soccer Stadium are free admission.
