TEMPE, AZ. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) have announced the 2025 Division II Women’s National and Regional Awards. The Division II national awards include – ITA Coach of the Year, ITA Assistant Coach of the Year, Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship, ITA Rookie of the Year, ITA Senior Player of the Year, and the ITA Player to Watch. Kristyna Hranacova was recognized as the ITA Player to Watch, cementing herself as a top player in NCAA Division II. Hranacova, ranked fourth in the nation in singles play, has guided the Sharks back to the NCAA National Championship tournament. Hranacova holds an 18-4 record in singles competition and won 12 consecutive matches from February 22nd through April 10th. In doubles play, Hranacova is ranked 12th nationally and holds a 16-6 record.
Hranacova and the second-ranked Sharks begin play at the NCAA National Tournament on Wednesday, May 21st, taking on 15th-seeded Slippery Rock at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
