Quarterback efficiency was a trend across the NFL on Kickoff Weekend, as there were 16 interceptions thrown in Week 1, the fewest in a season-opening week since the 1970 merger.

If 24 or fewer interceptions are thrown in Week 2, it would mark the lowest total through two weeks since 1970, surpassing the 2008 season (41 interceptions).
