MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – Lynn University’s Madison Wells and Emmanuelle Le Tertre wrapped up their two-day competition on Saturday at the University of Mount Olive First Chance Qualifier.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

·      Wells recorded a personal-best over her two days participating in the heptathlon with a combined score of 4,101, over 100 points better than her previous season-high on her way to a fifth-place finish.

·       Le Tertre also finished fifth in her respective event, crossing the line in the 1,500m with a time of 4:47:00.

UP NEXT:

Both will compete today, Sunday, May 12 in the NCAA Last Chance Invitational, hosted by Mount Olive. Le Tertre will run the 5,000m while Wells participates in the long jump and the 400m.
