9/22/2024 | Women’s Golf

NORMAN, Okla. — Florida Atlantic women’s golf had completed about nine holes on Sunday at the Schooner Fall Classic when rain caused a suspension of play for the day.

With the potential for more rain tonight and in the morning, two potential scenarios exist to complete the tournament, which will be shortened to 36 holes.

– Start round three at 9:30 a.m CST. and disregard the scoring for the second round.

– Resume round two at 11 a.m CST. and not play round three.

A decision will be made first thing on Monday morning.

When play was suspended, the Owls sat in 16th place in the team standings. Lena Hassert, in solo 58th place, was the Owls top scorer.
