BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women’s golf is in sixth place after two rounds at the American Athletic Conference Championship. Sophomore Charlotte Perkins posted a round of 70 (-2) on Tuesday to enter the final round three shots off the individual lead. Tulsa leads by 15 shots in the team competition. The Golden Hurricanes’ Romaine Masserey and Lovina Gunnar are tied for the individual lead at -5.

Quick Hits

  • Perkins started her day with birdies on three of her first five holes. She went out in 33 (-3).
  • After bogeying the 12th and 14th holes, the Aussie added one more birdie at the 15th. She moved up five spots on the leaderboard into fifth place.
  • Freshman Nancy Cox is also inside the Top 10 after a 74 (+2) on Tuesday.
