LEXINGTON, KY. – The American Volleyball Coaches’ Association (AVCA) has released the AVCA Team Academic Award, sponsored by INTENT. Nova Southeastern Volleyball. under the direction of Head Coach Kacie Ehinger, was recognized with the prestigious honor. For a program to earn the AVCA Team Academic Award, it must maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale for the completed academic year.
During the 2023 Fall semester, Sharks Volleyball accumulated a grade-point average of 3.64 and followed with a 3.53 GPA in the 2024 Winter semester. 17 members of the Sharks Volleyball program were named to the Sunshine State Conference Fall Commissioner’s Honor Roll, while Jordan Chessar, Brittany Landrum, Varshini Panuganti, and Elizabeth Price carried a perfect 4.0 GPA.
