FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern University Sharks Volleyball team secures their sixth consecutive season opening victory, in a sweep over Malone University on Friday evening from the Rick Case Arena. Taylor Stockman and Erika Spankus led the Sharks with 11 kills each. Abbie Roth totaled 24 assists and six service aces.

- The match began quickly with a 6-2 run. Sparked by consecutive service aces from Abbie Roth, Taylor Stockman totaled three kills, and Erika Spankus recorded her first kill with the program.
- The Sharks lead grew to 18-9 with kills from Caiden Largent, Brantley Chipley, and Taylor Stockman. Abbie Roth added two more aces.
- Olivia Aniol put a pair of points on the board making the score 23-15 with a kill and a block assisted by Natalya Bergant
- Five Sharks record kills in the opening set – Stockman, Spankus, Largent, Aniol, and Chipley – leading the Sharks to a 25-18 win in the first set.
- The Sharks ramped up their efforts in the second set with a 12-3 run led by Taylor Stockman with two kills and a pair of aces. Ericka Spankus and Olivia Aniol added points.
- Back-to-back kills by Erika Spankus and Olivia Aniol made the score 15-4.
- The Sharks closed out the second set with six consecutive points from a pair of Erika Spankus kills and an ace from Brooke Spurgeon. Taking the set 25-10.
- The total run carried into the third set with three more points from two service aces from Abbie Roth and a kill from Caiden Largent.
- The offense continued to roll, stringing together a 15-5 run with points coming from Taylor Stockman, Erika Spankus, Olivia Aniol and Natalya Bergant.
- Olivia Aniol closed out the match with two kills. The third set concluded with a 25-13 final score.
- The win was Head Coach Kacie Ehingers 60th win at Nova Southeastern University.
