BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic volleyball kicked off its preseason on Thursday, hosting a pair of practices. The Owls are 22 days out from their season-opening FAU Invitational on Aug. 30-31.
The Owls will see their first preseason action of the year on Aug. 17 as they compete in their Red vs. Blue intrasquad scrimmage, before closing out preseason play on Aug. 24, hosting an exhibition matchup against Palm Beach Atlantic.
Day one began with a three-hour morning practice. The Owls wrapped up the day with a two-hour afternoon practice. The later session began with warm-ups before breaking up into hitting drills and serve and pass. After a half hour, the squad regrouped to compete in six-on-six practice, before closing out the day with some serving practice and stretching.
