USF Men’s Golf – South Florida Men’s Golf Announces 2024-25 Schedule

TAMPA, Fla. (July 16, 2024) – The University of South Florida men’s golf team and Head Coach Steve Bradley announced the slate of tournaments for the 2024-25 season on Tuesday. The 2024-25 schedule features two PGA Tour courses. During the season there is an opportunity for an exemption for a Korn Ferry Tour event and an exemption for a PGA Tour event.

Bradley, the six-time American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year, enters his 11th season at the helm for South Florida. The Bulls are led by AAC Player of the Year and defending AAC Individual Champion Jake Peacock. USF also returns Shubham Jaglan, Cooper Smith, Chase Gullikson, James Hassell, Diego Neira, Nino Palmquist, and Wilhelm Ryding. South Florida brings in two freshmen, Matthew Joseph and William Jun, and Jack Burr a junior transfer.

The Bulls open the 2024-25 season in Knoxville, Tennessee, for the Visit Knoxville Collegiate on September 6-8 at the Tennessee National Golf Club. The individual winner will receive an exemption for a start on the Korn Ferry Tour.

South Florida heads to Northfield, Illinois, on September 29-30 for the Windon Memorial at Conway Farms Golf Club. Conway Farms has hosted multiple PGA Tour events.

USF will stay in the Sunshine State for its next three tournaments. On October 6-7, South Florida will be at the West Bay Club in Estero for the West Bay Collegiate. The Bulls head to the Quail Valley Golf Club in Vero Beach on October 13-14 for the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational. Quail Valley hosted the 2024 FSGA State Amateur Championship. South Florida closes out 2024 at the FAU Invitational on October 28-29 on the PGA National Champions Course in Palm Beach Gardens. PGA National is host to the Cognizant Classic, formally the Honda Classic.

South Florida will send individuals to Statesboro, Georgia, to start the new year at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate on February 1-2. USF travels up I-75 to Gainesville on February 15-16 for the Florida Gators Invitational. The Bulls end February with another individual tournament, this time at the King & Bear Golf Club for the World Golf Village Individual Collegiate on the 24th and 25th.

The final four tournaments will feature some of the toughest fields in college golf.

South Florida travels to Sawgrass Country Club for the Hayt Invitational on March 8-10. The Bulls turn around and head to Greensboro, Georgia, on March 16-17 for the Linger Longer Invitational at the Great Waters Country Club.

On March 24-25, USF will compete at the Valspar Collegiate at the Floridian Golf Club. The individual winner will receive an exemption to a PGA Tour event.

South Florida closes out the regular season on April 12-14 at The Ford Field & River Club for The Invitational at The Ford.

The American Athletic Conference Championship is scheduled for April 21-23 at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Sarasota, Florida.

The USF men’s golf program has captured 19 conference titles and has seen players earn 19 All-America honors. The Bulls have posted 24 tournament wins under Bradley including three in the 2023-24 season, by far the most under any coach in program history.
