USF Men’s Golf: Jake Peacock Becomes First Ever Back-to-Back Individual AAC Champion

SARASOTA, Fla (April 23, 2025) – For the second straight year, Jake Peacock is the individual American Athletic Conference Champion. He carded a 202 (-14) through 54 holes at the Ritz-Carlton Members Club in Sarasota. Peacock becomes the first men’s golfer in AAC history to win back-to-back titles.

Jake Peacock saved his best performance of the season for the AAC Championships, as his 202 total serves as his best 54-hole total of the year. Peacock posted rounds of 70-66-66. With this stellar performance, he inches closer to the all-time USF season scoring average held by Albin Bergstrom.

The now two-time AAC individual champion began Wednesday’s round three tied for fourth and just two strokes back of the leader. Peacock tied for the low round (66) of Championship Wednesday; ultimately securing him the two stroke victory over runner-up Jose Ramirez of Wichita State.

The season isn’t over yet for one of the all-time greats in USF program history as Peacock and the Bulls should be heading to Regionals in the coming weeks. With this historic win, Jake Peacock has cemented his legacy as one of the greatest men’s golfers in American Athletic Conference history.
