• USF (4-4; 2-2 AAC) will return to action with 4 regular season games remaining – 2 at home, 2 on the road, needing two victories to reach 6 wins and become bowl eligible for the first time since a run of four straight bowl games from 2015-18.
• USF’s 4 wins mark a three-win improvement over 2022 and equals the program’s win total over the previous three seasons (2020-22). The three-win improvement year-over-year equals the second-best in program history (3, 2015 to 2016; 3 2005 to 2006; 3 1997 to 1998) and is one win shy of the biggest year-over-year improvement in program history which came with a four-win improvement from 2014 (4-8) to 2015 (8-5).
• The Bulls remaining opponents: at Memphis (5-2), vs. Temple (2-6), at UTSA (4-3) & vs. Charlotte (2-5).
• USF won its second road game of the season at UConn, marking the first season with two or more road wins since 2019 (2 wins at UConn and ECU). A third road win would be the most since 2017 (4). USF had not won a road game in the previous three seasons entering 2023.
• USF’s comeback at UConn from down 21-10 (-11) with 12:45 to play marked just the fifth time in program history the team rallied from a fourth quarter double-digit deficit.
• QB Byrum Brown ranks 13th nationally (1st in the AAC) in total offense (304 ypg) while ranking 3rd in the AAC in passing yards (1,865), 4th in the AAC in rushing yards (567) and second in rushing TD (8).
• At his current rate, Brown is on pace for a TOP 3 Total offense season at USF and if the Bulls were to make a bowl game he could challenge one or both of Quinton Flowers top two program marks (4,342 in 2016 and 3,989 in 2017).
• At his current rate, Brown is on pace for a TOP 5 passing season at USF and if the Bulls were to make a bowl game he could challenge to become the first 3,000-yard passer in program history and eclipse the program passing record of 2,911 yards set by Quinton Flowers in 2017 and Matt Grothe in 2008.
• WR Sean Atkins has 51 receptions (3rd in the AAC/18th nationally) and is chasing the USF single-season receptions record of 67 (Rodney Adams, 2016). Additionally, Atkins, a former walk-on, has 550 receiving yards (the USF record is 879, set in 2017 by Marquez Valdes-Scantling). Atkins has 4+ catches in every game and four games with 7+, including his last three in which he has totaled 23 receptions (7.7 per game).
• RB Nay’Quan Wright posted his second-straight 100-yard rushing game and third of the season at UConn. His 186 yards at UConn are the most by an AAC player on the season and vaulted him into third in the conference in rushing yards with 590.
• USF ranks No. 25 in the nation and No. 2 in the AAC in rushing offense (190).
• USF forced four turnovers in its win at UConn an ranks No. 23 in the nation and No. 3 in the AAC in turnovers gained (13). USF also ranks No. 7 in the nation and No. 2 in the AAC in tackles for loss (8.1).
