UF WGOLF | No. 10 Gators lead into final round tomorrow at Inverness Intercollegiate

Florida owns a two-shot lead as Megan Propeck is in 3rd and Paula Francisco in 4th.

TOLEDO, Ohio – The No. 10 Florida women’s golf team will carry a two-shot lead into tomorrow’s final round of the Inverness Intercollegiate as five Gators are in the top-24.

After winning the biannual event in 2023, Florida looks to capture its first team title and ninth victory in the last three seasons. UF leads by two strokes over second-place Princeton followed by Ohio State and N.C. State. The final 18-holes are scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m.

Leading by a shot at the turn, the Orange and Blue extended that lead behind Megan Propeck’s 71 (E) in round two. She is currently tied for 3rd at +3 as her round two of even-par was the third-lowest round in the field with the average round score sitting at 78.18. Her six birdies are tied for the second-most through two rounds.

Junior Paula Francisco is two shots behind Propeck in T4 as she shot rounds of 73 (+2) and 74 (+2).

Following Francisco is Addison Klonowski tied for 19th after making a three-shot improvement from her opening round, with a 75 (+4) in round two. One shot behind her is freshman Katelyn Huber in T24.

Competing as an individual and making her collegiate debut, Siuue Wu is tied for X with Klonowski. Wu bounced back from an 80 (+9) in round one to a 73 (+2) in her second set of 18-holes.

Rounding out the lineup is Inès Archer in T32.
