The Florida women’s golf team looks to defend its five consecutive titles at home when they host the 49th annual Gators Invitational presented by VyStar Credit Union beginning Sunday, Feb. 21.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida women’s golf team will return home in search of its sixth consecutive title at the Gators Invitational presented by VyStar Credit Union, scheduled to run on Sunday, Feb. 21 through Tuesday, Feb. 23.

Format: This three-day event will kick off on Sunday as the Gators tee it up at 8:30 a.m. ET off of the 1st hole. Round two is scheduled for Monday with the final round being played Tuesday. Each round is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. ET.
Course Information: The tournament is being held at the Par 70, 6,002 yard Mark Bostick Golf Course. MBGC was designed in the 1920s by Donald Ross and underwent a $4 million renovation project in 2001 by Bobby Weed. The course has been home to the University of Florida men’s and women’s golf teams since 1962.

Tournament History: This marks the 49th annual Gators Invitational that has been hosted by the University of Florida. The Gators have captured the title 23 times over the course of this tournament, including the past five-straight outings.
Last season, Florida captured the title with an 18-stroke lead over the nearest opponent. Marta Perez was the top finisher for the Gators, heading into a playoff hole with UCF’s Tunrada Piddon before eventually claiming second place overall. Annabell Fuller (T3), Clara Manzalini (6) and Addie Baggarly (T7) all joined Perez in the top-10.
Last Time Out: The Florida women’s golf team returned to competition on Sunday, Feb. 14 when they began their spring slate in Melbourne, Fla. at the Moon Golf Invitational.
Annabell Fuller led the way for the Gators behind a career-low 67 in the second round. She finished as the only Florida golfer under par and in sole possession of 10th place individually, the fourth top-10 finish of her collegiate career.
Addie Baggarly finished next for Florida, posting a 2-over par 218 to tie for 31st individually.
Jenny Kim and Elin Esborn, making their debuts to the lineup for the 2020-21 season, joined Marina Escobar Domingo to round out the Gators lineup.
Safety Protocols at Mark Bostick Golf Course
The following safety protocols will be in place at all times during the event:
* Spectators will be required to wear masks at all times when on-site at the tournament.
* A physical distance of 6 feet between spectators and coaches/student-athletes is required at all times.
* The Mark Bostick Clubhouse Proshop will be open and have limited restroom access during the tournament. Masks are required.
* The Mark Bostick Snack Bar will be closed for spectators. Use is limited to coaches and student-athletes.
* Hand sanitizer dispensers are positioned in and around the golf course and clubhouse.
* Golf carts for spectators with disabilities are available through the Mark Bostick Proshop. The cost of a cart is $25.00 plus tax per day. Handicapped visitors must have a doctor’s request and/or proof of disability statement faxed to the golf course.
Coming Up: Florida will hit the road and set out to Columbia, S.C. to compete in the Gamecock Intercollegiate, set to begin on Monday, March 1 through Wednesday, March 3.
