UF WBK: Reynolds, O’Neal and McGill Set to Represent Florida at SEC Tip-Off ‘26

Three Gators will make their way to Birmingham to represent the Orange and Blue at the two-day event.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference has unveiled the official list of student-athlete participants and the full schedule for SEC Tipoff ’26, set to take place in Birmingham, Alabama, from Oct. 14-15.

Florida will be featured on Wednesday, Oct. 15, with Laila Reynolds<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/laila-reynolds/17726>, Me’Arah O’Neal<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/me-arah-o-neal/17719> and Liv McGill<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/liv-mcgill/17717> representing the Gators at 12:20 pm ET.

Reynolds enters her third season with the Gators after starting every game for the Orange and Blue in the 2024-25 season, amassing 963 minutes of play time. In that time, she made 339 points and averaged 10.3 points per game. Defensively, the junior guard recorded 32 blocks and 120 rebounds (89 defense and 31 offense).

In her freshman season, O’Neal played a total of 482 minutes in eight starts, to record 167 points and averaged 4.8 points per game. On the defensive side, the Texas native recorded 20 rebounds, 14 steals and a total of 137 rebounds (41 offense and 96 defense).

McGill became the leading scorer for the team in her first year as a Gator, averaging about 16.5 points per game and owning the program record for the most points recorded in a freshman season with 611 points. McGill helped lead the program to the Quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament and was selected to the 2025 SEC All-Freshman Team and named to the WBIT All-Tournament Team, in which the Gators made it to the Semifinals of that tournament.
